Ty, it is Latin for Wandering Soul. Since my interest and travels are eclectic it fit's me.

Who am I Sarge47 has asked? Warning Alert I am a Fire Captain with Monroe Fire Dept in .... Monroe Fire Dept. 20 yrs thus far. I preform aircraft rescue and structural fire fighting now but am certified in many other rescue disciplines.

As to where I live , that would be in Ouachita Parish, pronounced wash-a-taw, out in the country in Louisiana. We have Parishes since we are under the Napoleonic Code and not the Roman Code as is the rest of the Nation.

My interest are eclectic as mention above and range from primitive skills to design and construction of sea kayaks and fiberglass reflex/deflex longbows. I forge a bit, knifes and tools, when its not 103* like it is now, camping and hunting have always been a part of our up bringing. Basically making things rather than buying them and I cater BBQ on the side a few times a year. I have a keen interest in learning.
