If you have on your Twinkie suit I'm sure they'll sneak out a whole lots faster.

Personally, if they are crazy enough to get in my house I have a live person to try out several knives on. I love to use belly buttons for a bow drill.. EWWW

THANKS for the suggestions.I do live in the country and always have.I also live in northern NE which for the most part is one of the safest places in the U.S. besides a mountain lion or 2 an ocasional tornado there is nothing that can hurt you.As my name says (BIG TONE) I'm not really scared of any body on 2 legs so?
Maybe a solo trip is in order this fall.

Psssst. AS. Solo is like alone. Not like take someone with you. That would be duo or bi..no forget I said that one.

About the fire bow in the belly button. Never, never try that on a fat guy. Have you ever smelled burning fat? EEEeeeeeeewwwwww.

Any help? or am i just a BIG wimp?
I have a similar problem. I'm not afraid of the dark. All the sounds just keep me trying to figure out what they are and whats making them. My doc says it's from my "PTSD" and its called "Hyper vigilance". Here's what I've come up with that seems to help.

    1. If I'm alone in the bush I just deal with it.

    2. If I'm in the bush with other people I put in earplug's. If something happens they will hear it and all the commotion will wake me up. If nothing else I don't have to listen to them snore.

    3. If I am at home I put an earplug in the ear closest to my wife.....so I don't have to listen to her snore.
    1. If it's in your kit and you don't know how to use it....It's useless.
    2. If you can't reach your kit when you need it....Its useless.

Well it appears that Rick can destroy a joke in one post. LOL

I know what alone means. HAHA, alone is like all those people that wait in line for a ticket to a sold out movie right?

Actually ArmyS, Rick can usually destroy a joke by telling it.

So what-da-want? A freakin' lullaby? Just kidding, but the "flaming" bit got me going! Now let's just think this through, Big T.. In the woods there's nothing to really fear except Mountain Lions, Wolverines, hungry bears, serial killers, Sasquatch, The Bare Wilderness Numptys, Trax, Rick wearing his Twinkie suit..... Crap, now I'm going to stay home...see what you went & did!?
