Well it's about time you posted. I'll bet your pressure valve was about to pop wasn't it? Go on, admit it. I can't stay away either.

Great post Remy, I agree totally. Wow I agree with everything in your post bro, wonders never cease to exsist.
There is no greater solitude than that of the Tracker in the forest, unless perhaps it's that of the wolf in the wilderness.
Remy= the true survivalist, he just keeps on tickin' ..welcome back mon frere
Beo=becoming existentialist?
some fella confronted me the other day and asked "What's your problem?" So I told him, "I don't have a problem I am a problem"
Wait a minute.
Explain please:
1-a closed mind and a clogged heart.
Of course a clogged heart would, you'll die, probably from the stress.
2-being deaf and blind (not literal)...or lack of Attention
Lack of Attention? How will that effect me, If i'm lost alone in the wilderness (which I prefer anyway cause most people suc) I'm not gonna have any attention paid to me until someone relizes I'm missing how is this s detrement? Or are you talking a lack of attention to your surroundings? Which can/will get you injured, killed, or lost even more.

Great post. I've always said once you lose your head in a situation you're done.
Some of those can apply to many areas of life as well.
The mind can be the catalyst to spring a person to intense and/or simple achievement or compel a person to intense and/or simple despair.
Didn't you just agree with everything the guy said? You can't do that and then start an argument with him its just....it's just....well, he!! I guess you can but it seems a little weird. Take off that sheep hide I think you're overheating![]()

I really like what you've said here. Well thought, and well written. But, the definition of Instinct is the inherent disposition of a living organism toward a particular behavior. Instincts are unlearned, inherited fixed action patterns of responses or reactions to certain kinds of stimuli. ...
Therefore reacting on observing, learning, and questioning is learned behaviour- not instinctual.
Breathing is an instinct- Survival is second nature?

Back again to agree and disagree with without getting hot under the collar. Always enjoyed it. Didn't matter whether we agreed or didn't, still enjoyed it.
Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he's too old
to fight... he'll just kill you.
Can't believe I'm gonna say this. Remy, you ain't agonna believe this, but after the "nut-jobs" we've had in the last two days even you comin' back don't bother me.I'm a man of my word, no more hassles from me, & I know the others like you as well. Sacre Bleu, (walks off muttering to himself).

Yes, survival IS an instinct, it's called "Self Preservation". The S.T.O.P. anagram is a scaled down version of the same thing. "Sit...Think....Observe...Plan". Anything that interferes with that is obviously going to "gum up the works." Understand that I agree with you, but just thought that it was a more lengthy way of saying the same thing that's printed elsewhere. That doesn't mean that there are not some here who need to read it the way you said it though.![]()
