Default Won the lottery, Going hunting for Bull Moose

Went to the mail box today and there it was. They told me I wouldn't get one the first year I applied. But there it was 1 tag for a bull moose!

Then just 20 minutes ago I bought a .303 British to take it down with.

Never been moose hunting but I know they are thick up this way. Sure looking forward to it.

Can I come up there and go with you? If you wanted to do a float in hunt, I'd gladly provide all the gear!

Season opens in October so seeing as this is my first time I will have many questions, thanks for the offers.

BTW, I have a killer jerky recipe I have made with elk (purchased) and would be happy to distribute some jerky.

Good luck. Practice ALOT with that new gun. If your hunting during the rut make sure your ready for a quick follow-up shot as moose can be unpredictable at that time of year.
