    Lead would reach a certain terminal velocity as it falls to the ground. This speed is based on the density of the object, denser objects having less drag as they fall through the air will have a higher ultimate speed.

    Lead, being very dense as compared to most objects, will likely fall faster than a human skidiver who maxes out at something like 200 kilometers per hour.

    So a 12-gauge slug traveling faster than 200kph would likely hurt, if not do actual damage, IMHO. However small shot would be just too light to do anything but just bounce off.

    How did this go form bird shot to 2x4 to the face.Now if you want a real man stoper do like I do and use live skunks. Just fill up a small jar of the smelly stuff reload it in to a shot gunshell and despence judicely
