    I know it's a touchy subject for some, but I heard some rumors that may or may not be true that he was badmouthing the war - after he had been there for a while. So some of our own guys shot him. - Friendly fire was the cause of death according to the news, so it would sort of fit in, but a man who gave up his football career for that I don't think he'd badmouth it. - oh! here's another quote...     You know Goloth - I feel compelled to respond. When discussing the death of military personnel you may want to refrain from using the expression lol. Also, don't believe all of the rumors you hear.

    Sorry to offend you crash, I didn't mean it in an offensive way. I haven't decided whether I want to join the military yet myself, so don't worry, it's not like I'm against it or anything, and as I said in the post - it may or may not be true - the fact of the matter is, things like that happen all the time and we don't hear a thing about it, so I just thought I'd put in my two cents is all. As you know already I'm from AZ, and I'm a pretty big Cardinals fan... unfortunately. So I'm very well aware of the circumstances surrounding the Tillman death.

    Can I chime in? I don't deal in rumors, I deal in facts. I also do a pretty good job of knowing fact from fiction. Rumors are statements for which nobody will claim authorship. I know for a fact that rumors are generally dead wrong, and usually cause irreparible harm to honorable and innocent people. That's why I never believe them when I hear them.
