Society sucks, politics suck, the world we created seems toxic on so many levels. Food, air, and water its toxic. People are corrupt especially the ones that are put in power to take care of people like when they let vaccines into Aamerica that have been denied every where els coz of thier risks, or when they wont make stores lable which foods are genetically engineered coz the people dont have the right to choose for them selves what to put in thier bodies at the expens of those making profit. Thats one reason. Also I just like it. But what I want is probly dif then your thinking. Im not at the point in my life where I want to have a house off grid yet. No I want to live nomadicly which has slightly different challenges. I will work and have a job when I need to of course but my lifestyle is pretty cheap so I wont need to much. Kinda minimalist living. Even now I get some of my food frome the woods and I dont eat much, I sleep in the woods most days even in frost, I dont use a tent, just a sleeping bag some days which is good enough even in frost but when it rains Im usually under a tarp, in a brush shelter or in a cave which there are a few where I live. In a couple years I plan to go back to Alaske and do subsistence living. Id still visit the city now and then to go to the library or do whatever though.
