As of August 25, we have a knife/survival knife sticky of 35 pages
a multi-use items sticky with 14 pages
Beo's excellent sticky on traps and trapping
backwoods menu/tea sticky on edible plants with 17 pages
a survival kits info thread with 27 pages

I don't know how many contributions on guns, tracking, hunting skills, wilderness first-aid, shelter building etc etc. Just wanted to throw this out there for when new people ask a question and someone suggests they search the threads for themselves

Oh, and of course, this site was originally based on an army survival manual....

Hey, we ain't just another pretty face, brother. There's some meat that goes with these taters.

The good news is when you do a search the items you searched for will appear in RED in each of the posts. For example, if I want to do a search for Snares then the word Snares will be highlighted in red. Now, we all know that it's a rarity for any thread to go off topic but it does happen and they can run for several posts before going back on topic. Sooooo, you just scan down those posts looking for snares and every time the word appears you'll have a post you can read through. See how easy we make life? Meat, that's what I'm talkin' about.
