    Default A few survival questions.

Here are a few questions about survival, the world, and you. Will answer them, can you answer them.

What does your sustainability look like fro a survival situation?

How do humans need to adapt to survive the changes predicted for this century?

How do we shift from "Me" to "We" on both the local and global levels?

How can you, be the change that you want to see in the world?

What kind of leadership does a survival group need?

What is the most important question in world today?

What is the most important question in Survival?

What's not being talked about that, were it explored, would free us up to have the world we want?

What are your answers to these questions?
    Thanks
    Beo,
There is no greater solitude than that of the Tracker in the forest, unless perhaps it's that of the wolf in the wilderness.

How do humans need to adapt to survive the changes predicted for this century? Live more simply, wean ourselves off non-renewable resources and quit buying all this crap. Re-discover that physical work keeps you happy and healthy. Have respect and love for lifeforms other than the human species - without that, the planet will keep being destroyed, because if people see no value in nature, why should they care about it? Without an ecosystem to live in, we'll be dead.

How do we shift from "Me" to "We" on both the local and global levels? Probably impossible.

How can you, be the change that you want to see in the world?By making concious choices in our actions every day. Getting involved in one cause we passionately care about. Treating other humans and species the way we'd like to be treated ourselves.

What is the most important question in world today?Different for every person, I guess.

What is the most important question in Survival? Is it worthwhile for myself to survive situation xyz?

What's not being talked about that, were it explored, would free us up to have the world we want?Money and owning things have no inherent value that will make people happy. Both are tied to harming the planet and exploit people's life, but can be used to turn things around.

Really everything is "Perfect" in it's own way. You can't change other people, all you can do is shift how you see the world. The world remains the same, everything is the same, but you shift, you suddenly see, really see.

Really what WildWomen said, get back to the earth, not just go visit the earth once a month. Be part of it, be one with it. Learn to love hard manual labor. Buy a farm, build a farm, live simple life. Your going to die anyway. "Learn to live life deliberately", said Thoreau.

What does your sustainability look like fro a survival situation?
It looks good. I prepare for likely survival situations that I may be placed in for the area in which I live, travel and the activities I do.

How do humans need to adapt to survive the changes predicted for this century?
Who knows what changes we will face. Man (and woman) will adapt to survive as they have since man has been around. We've already got fire, the wheel, and it certainly helps to have opposable thumbs.

How do we shift from "Me" to "We" on both the local and global levels?
I see it happening all the time. Look at the individual, local, national, worldwide responses to tsunamis, hurricanes, wild fires, other disasters.

How can you, be the change that you want to see in the world?
    One person at a time.

What kind of leadership does a survival group need?
    Competent and trustworthy.

What is the most important question in world today?
Wish I knew. I like the question I ask myself every day - How am I going to make a difference today?

What is the most important question in Survival?
What should I do next to keep alive.

What's not being talked about that, were it explored, would free us up to have the world we want?
Don't know that there's an answer for that. Wouldn't it be nice if it were that simple?

What does your sustainability look like fro a survival situation?

I think it's good for most situations. Certainly local ones.

How do humans need to adapt to survive the changes predicted for this century?
We have to recognize that population growth is at a point that it grows exponentially. Now 6.5 billion and expected to grow to 9.1 billion by 2050. That means (I hate to use the term but it's appropriate) more rats in less space. That means a more violent transition. More people per square mile and more violence.

How do we shift from "Me" to "We" on both the local and global levels?
We have to recognize that we are in this together. We have been very good at adapting along those lines. From Clans to Villages to Towns to Cities to States and now to Countries. We just have to get past the mind set of Buy Here Only. We have to look at the bigger picture and how it affects all of us.

How can you, be the change that you want to see in the world?
Lead by example. Be the teacher. Be the student.

What kind of leadership does a survival group need?
I think it depends on the type of survival situation. Decisive, knowledgeable and experienced leadership.

What is the most important question in world today?
Are we prepared? (we in the collective)

What is the most important question in Survival?
    Am I prepared?

What's not being talked about that, were it explored, would free us up to have the world we want?
Our lifestyle. Our choices. As more of us consume more we further deplete natural resources. We have to reevaluate our lifestyles with regard to consumption.
