    Default Martial Law

If they come and try and take YOUR guns, what would YOU do?
In this video, I'm guessing the clergy will blindly try to help "keep the peace", while at the same time, bind the will and minds of "free people".

Arkansas town on lock down "Martial Law"
This is the second time we've seen a domestic "surge" with police imposing a martial law-style clampdown; the first was in DC a few weeks ago. This will quickly become a trend, and then standard procedure in quite a few communities, I suspect.

IMO, you'll do as you are damn well told, or your arse is headed for the funeral home my friends. Today's law enforcement officers aren't going to pussyfoot around with you in a no-knock raid -- you resist the law and you are DEAD, period.

Look at the raid in Maryland last week or so where the mayor of a small town was found to be dealing marijuana. A SWAT team kicked in the front door, killed his dogs (chasing one down to kill it), laughing all the while. He's lucky he wasn't killed himself -- he would have been had he resisted.

Most of the new recruits in law enforcement today are Iraq war vets, and these men and women are VI-OH-LENT. If you think they can't take your guns you had better think again.

    Thoughts there tough guys?

Voilent vets? May I suggest you begin practicing the art of duck and cover while I step away? My guess is there is going to be some fallout on this post. This would be me leaving......

Yes, and "WE" still (for the time being) have more gun rights than most of the world.

This morning I jumped a two/three year old Black Bear at about 8 feet. I watched him spray Blue Berries, and I just was able to keep my blue berries onboard. I just don't see them taking Alaskans firearms.

Black-Guns might someday need a $200.- BATF&E stamp. But I cannot see no firearms.

I could See a "NEW" government....If they tried that.

Could this be the birth pains of a revolution?

Folks tend to like their guns.

You're joking right? You need to get your facts straight.

The Mayor of that town in Maryland was not dealing drugs..at all. He was randomly implicated in a drug-ring scheme. The suppliers would mail the drugs to unsuspecting, random citizens, and before the residents would find the drugs, dealers would intercept the packages. The drug suppliers happened to mail the drugs to the Mayor's residence, with his wife's name on the package, when the police decided to conduct a raid.

The police were over-zealous in this instance, but it is a rare case at best.

Also, please cite your statistic and sources for your comment regarding the fact that "most" new law enforcement recruits are Iraq War veterans.

On top of that, please cite a study labeling a majority of Iraq War veterans as violent.

EDIT - ..Ignorance like this disgusts me.

Chill out there Mickster. You haven't been around long enough to "understand" Bragg. He means well and we love him but he's a great deal like a very old junk yard dog. Mostly bark.

    It's not that rare.

My apologies, I'm just very protective of veterans. It also irks me when people proclaim blantantly false things across the internet.

Well, maybe not blatantly false. False, yeah but blatantly may be a bit too blatant. If you know what I mean.

yeah; it kinda works on the same principle by which all vietnam veterans are baby killers. it was such a popular notion it must be true.

i take such sentiments with a grain of salt. i don't think much of this war, but our fighting men and women are our citizens, and several are my personal friends, so i know what kind of people we have on the front lines and the support structure of our conflicts.

I wasn't thrilled with Vietnam either and not so much with this one, but no way in hell am I NOT gonna support every man & woman in uniform and that goes for the scouts also. And since I best comment on Bragg's statement. "Come to WV & E. KY and try and find a slingshot to confiscate, nobody around here owns a firearms."

i will follow my old friend's advice. he was a conspiracy talk show host. he said if they come for you, go peacefully. what are you gonna do, hole up in your house with tons a guns and ammo and have a shootemup? no. you fire once nowadays and they aim the rocket launcher or tank at your house(hopefully after clearing the neighborhood) and you house goes boom, turns to dust and you with it, FOOL!

Remember Ruby Ridge (shooting a woman in the head holding a deadly armed baby)! LA Police (sodomizing handcuffed civilians)! David Koresh (burning children and unarmed civilians in a barn)!

Yes, overzealousness happens sometimes, it doesn't seem to be the rule in the US though.

First of all being a cop and vet I take offense to "Most of the new recruits in law enforcement today are Iraq war vets, and these men and women are VI-OH-LENT." Show me the proof. Because they were in a WAR does not make them violent when here at home.
I am not a violent cop, and "police were over-zealous" anyone here ever been on SWAT, I am on SRT here and when you go in to do a raid, drug bust, or serve a high risk warrant you get amped up, not by others but by human nature of the adrenaline that pumps into your system going in to do a nerve racking thing most of the guys I know on SWAT and SRT are quiet before going in because they're thinking of what they have to do. And SR, what the he11 aren't you against.
If the cops are told to enforce Martial Law then it will be done and they are following orders, no one is taking your gun rights away and Bragg quote the whole thing instead of just parts starting a war of words here.
And to tell you the truth, I don't know about your SWAT teams but here with ours, ryaninmichigan or anyone else with all that macho crap, it'd take us about 3 seconds to get in your house and see you with a gun and stitch you up the middle with quick burst if it was pointed our way.
So saying you'll fight is ridiculous, and the guns took during martial law, just like we had here during the riots, were tagged and returned to the owners when the curfew and law was lifted. Relax people.

There is no greater solitude than that of the Tracker in the forest, unless perhaps it's that of the wolf in the wilderness.
