No chance of any kind of defense for the dead guy. Down around here it would be a tossup. Would the nutjob get sliced and diced or shot a few times. Even bet.

Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he's too old
to fight... he'll just kill you.
Psycho!! I don't think he'll get probation, I think he'll be locked up in either a psycho ward (or sent back to it?) or prison for a looonnngggg time.
Let's see, Greyhound has transported how many people this year? And how many deranged lunatics have decapitated another passenger? I'd say the odds are in your favor. Or...look at this way. One has already struck Greyhound. They haven't struck on Amtrack or American Airlines!.....yet![]()

Sam is right about one thing those buses are filled with nut cases. I feel sorry for folks that have to travel on one.

You're a better man than me WE. I'd probably be the one behind bars by now.
it is like i said one of the great tragedies in life with the piss poor legal system here there is no deturant here, i was no angel myself growing up and some may point to this as a reason but it is what it is. and i find it hard to be a hypacrite after being in combat but people will say a different context but i still say a life is a life he will deal with his maker in the end as will i and who knows what he goes thru on a daily basis, any how enough of this where was we

i saw this morning where theyre talking about the possibility of enacting a knife registry in Canada in the wake of this tragedy.
I'm sweet as sugar but tough as nails.
after wasting what was it a billion dollars on the failed gun regisrty i don't see that being worthy or the candaian voting people letting that happen

WE, you are talking Canada, so don't be to sure.....Most of the people live in the big cities, and really have no need of a knife, so you never know....Gun registry is still here, and still wasting money.
well if they do that i am moving back to Arizona. only the criminals would be armed and that my friend is horse manure

Yep, I agree, but have seem some pretty stupid things happen. But would be funny to see then register butter knives, lol. what next...baseball bats?
That happened about 20 kilometers west of where I'm living right now. Pretty big news in town here. I already heard crap about a knife registry, ridiculous. The feds didn't waste a billion dollars on the gun registry WE, they wasted 12 billion. Unfortunately, I too have to agree on Canada's legal system with Bragg and WarEagle, it's pathetic. The first cop on the scene should have just taken the guy out, "I thought he still had hostages on board...." but sadly that didn't happen.
As far as the other passengers not reacting, I'm pretty sure that poor kid was dead before anyone realized what was going on, it was the middle of the night, and a knife doesn't make a whole lot of noise. Who knows, maybe they all would have sat there anyway. The dude was charged with 2nd degree murder on Friday. I'll keep folk up-to-date if you all want to know, otherwise...not. Stuff like this just sickens me.
Man, WE, that breaks my heart about your Mom, bro.
some fella confronted me the other day and asked "What's your problem?" So I told him, "I don't have a problem I am a problem"
Read on the news yesterday, that they have gotten police tapes from the scene, and the cop was telling dispatch that the man was eating the flesh off of the victom, the sicko.
