And don't forget double time off his sentence for time in custody waiting for his trial. In all liklihood the government will end up paying him for any inconveniece!! Our Judges are a complete joke! If Judges simply enforced the laws already on the books and resisted the temptation to play God, instead of the lunatic governments policy of continually introducing NEW laws, we'd all be much better off.

my mother was stabbed to death a few years ago six vital stab wounds each one would have killed her how long did the guy do? two years and there was witnesses two fn years that is my problem with canada this is where we differ big guy in your other post about baning guns naw means i can shoot back and save lives thats what that means and while guns are prohibited i am still part american(90 percent cowboy) and i still carry all the time, i would rather be tried by 12 than carried by 6 besides with the laws here i'll get off anyways..

That happened about 20 kilometers west of where I'm living right now. Pretty big news in town here. I already heard crap about a knife registry, ridiculous. The feds didn't waste a billion dollars on the gun registry WE, they wasted 12 billion. Unfortunately, I too have to agree on Canada's legal system with Bragg and WarEagle, it's pathetic. The first cop on the scene should have just taken the guy out, "I thought he still had hostages on board...." but sadly that didn't happen.

As far as the other passengers not reacting, I'm pretty sure that poor kid was dead before anyone realized what was going on, it was the middle of the night, and a knife doesn't make a whole lot of noise. Who knows, maybe they all would have sat there anyway. The dude was charged with 2nd degree murder on Friday. I'll keep folk up-to-date if you all want to know, otherwise...not. Stuff like this just sickens me.
