Default Over 100' of snow? Seriously?

So this expert is predicting that we may get over 100' of snow this winter, beginning this month. How does one prepare for THAT? I'm not asking about bread and milk. How about all of the roofs that could collapse because there's simply no place to put all of it? We'd all suffocate, just like being buried in an avalanche. Crash, do you have a spare bedroom? Suggestions, anyone?

You can always consider it as insulation. They have had plows out in Alberta already.

In 1998/99, Mt Baker, WA recieved a US record snowfall of 1140" at the 5500' level. That comes to about 95' of snow. That is a total measurement, taken on a daily basis- not snow depth on the ground. There is a ski area on Mt Baker, that was kept open during this time period. So, people can and do deal with deep snow.
