Therm-A-Rest Sleeping Pad

I don't know if anyone is interested or not but I purchased 2 Therma-A-Rest sleeping pads on eBay and they arrived today. They were in really good condition and I've had them inflated all day and no leaks. These are the military version, which is the equivalent of the Ultra Lite and these are the 21 X 72 size. I think Therm-A-Rest classifies them as "regular". It looks like he has several more and the price is pretty darn good so I thought I'd let you all know. These have been used but, at least the two I received, are in good shape.

I had a self-inflating thermarest for many years. Loved it.

Hey, I hear ya on the dial a number. I've never slept on anything but a ground cover and some days I roll around like a turtle just trying to get up. So I finally broke down and ordered one. My son has carried one for years and swears by it. We shall see.

Great insulator if you do cold weather camping too.

That's what my son says. My ground cover is actually a sleeping bag cover. WHEN I go out in the winter (not too danged often) I slip the old sleeping bag inside the cover and it works pretty well. The top is breathable so you don't have the condensation from your breath build up.

Don't remember the length of the pad I had (I know it wasn't 72"). I always referred to it as a 3/4 pad. I think you'll like it.

That's the short one. This hike we're doing next week-end strolls by a couple of lakes. I'm thinkin' that pad might do double duty as a swim float!
