There's something wrong with you if you are 51 and have kids that young. (Groan.....) I have a 3 year old grand daughter. I would just have to kill myself if I had a 3 year old daughter.

Lets face it, at the end of the day diet is a personal thing. I enjoy what some say is bad for you, personally I don’t give a fig. I eat what I want. Now before anyone starts telling me I should change my ways, because of this, that or the other. I don’t tell you how to eat, so don’t tell me and do not try the guilt trip thing that's just low and downright rude.
Maybe it was a waste, but it was Mr Gandolfini’s choice to make. Who he left behind and the circumstances of his death is frankly none of our business, regardless of how it was reported.

+1 Winnie, we don't need to tell an over weight person they are fat, they already know it.

I have spent a considerable amount of time, as of late, researching "a healthy diet".

What sparked me in earnest, was watching what the varmints were putting in their backpacks and cooking for themselves in the lab. Before I could expect any sort of respect from them on the subject, I needed to clean my own act up some and educate myself. And I am still in that process, and likely will always be.

I'm not a tee totaler with respect to anything. I can have my cake and eat it too, within some reason. They are reading the labels now, and have changed somewhat. They are much better prepared, and enjoy, to use fresh whole foods.

I owe it to them for many reasons, at least enough information to make an informed decision, and the skill sets to be able to change path. We are surrounded now by so much packaged food that we have let someone else "cook" for us.

There are no bad foods, only bad cooks.

Yeah....the healthy stuff. If you wander in towards the middle of the store, you get to all that highly processed, overly salty, slam full of chemicals, stuff in boxes.

Easy, now. I'm trying to learn these folks that they can eat a little healthier, without becoming a full on vegimatic, like you.

Oh....and for the record.....please don't mess up my bacon, by putting maple syrup on it!

I can tell you for a fact that there are anger issues to deal with when a loved one does not take care of himself and dies, in part, because of it. It tends to make the grieving process a lot more messy.

    So true, 1st!
You hear people say..."I'll do anything for my family"...but apparently, taking care of myself so I'm there for them doesn't cross their mind. Or, maybe, they think so little of themselves that they can't fathom how shattering their death would be on their family for the rest of their lives.
Being alive and well for as long as possible is the biggest gift you can give them.
