Hi, my name is Dave, and I like the outdoors.
I live in BC Canada, and I like to mountain bike, ski, and various other things. I'm only 15, and I haven't really been out in the real bush much, but for some reason I'm just drawn to reading and learning about survival. I have done a few hikes, including Healy Pass in Banff. I like to camp, in fact I like it more than staying in hotels.
I figured I'd just give a little intro to myself just for the sake of it.

Welcome to the "Wolf-Pack" Led Zeppie! I really like your candor. Here you will find tons of info from many experienced people who are a lot older than you & have traveled the world. Remember to always practice your craft one step at a time in a "controlled environment" until you learn how to do it well. Rushing into anything is only asking for trouble. I always advise folks to "err on the side of caution."
