Default New Rifle, Ruger 10/22 All Weather

Just bought a new Ruger 10/22 All Weather. It's going to be a good summer of plinking!

Any of you guys use this rifle? One of my favorites.

It's one that's always on my wish list. I've never heard a bad report on the Ruger 10/22, have fun double R.
some fella confronted me the other day and asked "What's your problem?" So I told him, "I don't have a problem I am a problem"

Gun show in town last weekend. Planned on picking up a 10/22. All of the vendors that brought them only brought the pink finished ones. Now don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with pink......I'd just have to buy a new outfit to go with it.

RR - I have a 10/22 just not the all weather. I've probably had it for 20 years or so. I did modify it by installing an extended mag release. The stock one was too short and a pain but that's the only complaint I have about it. Otherwise, it's a great toy.

I bought mine about a month ago. Camo version with a nice scope. Pretty accurate with CCI mini mags out to about 100 yards. Fun gun, and no ear plugs needed.

What would you guys recommend for a scope and sling for the 10/22?

Don't have them. I use the open sites.

As for after market mags, I've read a lot of reports that there are feeding problems with mags that have plastic lips. I have 3 factory clips and two after market clips by Eagle International. So far, I haven't had any problems. Perhaps it's a personality thing per rifle.

Beo, if you're having trouble pushing the bullets down the barrel to load it, there's people here that can explain what's going wrong for you. You know, just in case you thought it was like your other rifles

Sure it is. And the volley would sound like:

Me with my 10/22: bang, bang, bang

    Beo pours powder.

    Me: bang, bang, bang

    Beo rams wad

    Me: bang, bang

    Beo rods ball

    Me: bang

    Beo: Boom!

    Me: bang

    Yeah, way better.
