you all seen this one before, right?

well, my cousin has one in his yard and brought me this.. says he broke off the needle tip and pulled out the string, just like that. very sharp point. It would be a good source of cordage although I've never found one "wild"... only seen them in peoples yards. apparently it also produces nectar and honey-stuff too.

Yep, I've sewn with the tip of the leaf and fibers before. I have found them sparsely in the wild, but you're right - they are plentiful in residential areas.

Oh yeah! Agave Nectar is better than sugar or any other sweetener on anything. Son has it on his NM organic farm.

well there is also luo han guo which i think is a little better for you then agave nectar but harder to come by in the US and cost a ton. i think luo han tastes better too. almost a hint of maple or something. but i like both. there both better for you then sugar because there low glycemic index. lou han has a little lower GI, has fewer calories and has antioxidants.

Dang. I don't know Boo about agave but I just read this little ditty.
