    Default Gday from Australia

I hate these intro type things myself, but here we go.

Im an Aussie through and through, but have traveled Britain, Europe, parts of Asia and have spent many years discovering this unique amazing land called OZ.

I hunt with a Compound Bow, Ross Cardiac set @ 70 lbs.
Here in Oz any feral animal can be harvested with a Bow. Anything from Rabbit, Hare, Fox, Cat, Wild Dogs, Dingoes, Wild Boar and pigs, Goats, 5 type of Deer from Hog Deer to the Mighty Reds, Wild Horses, Scrub Bulls, Water Buffalo, Camel. Im sure ive forgotten a few also.

I was Born in the Kimberlies Far north west of the Continent and have spent of time in the scrub or as you may know it the Outback.

I Fish, I camp, I enjoy nature and making my self comfortable with the what nature has to provide. I also Ride Motor bikes as its a great way to cross such a large country as ours.

As i said hate these intros and would rather type about knowledge that can be shared than speak about meself, So if ya have any questions please ask away am only happy to answer in the best way i can.

Hello and welcome. For hating intros, you did good. Look at it this way - you said you would rather type about knowledge that can be shared.... That's understandable, it just helps those recieving what you are typing to know a little about you to put the info in context. We've got members from about 11 years old to well into their 80's, and from several continents.

In that case i should add that i have grown up in a self sufficient way, my pops (mums dad) was the first white man that 2 separate tribes of Aboriginals had met, as a 4 year old child i went on a 6 month walkabout with traditional aboriginals up the north west end of the continent. So from a young age i have had an affinity with self sufficiency and survival from and extremely young age in some of the most extreme places on this continent and to that fact the planet.

I enjoy putting my self to the test and have done many survival style treks, alone, through the many varying harsh environments this place has to offer.

I enjoy Man Vs Wild And Survivorman, both of which to me are entertaining, but to many mistakes are made by both in a realtime survival situation. But hey they are entertainment not a survival guide.
Then again in saying that that both subscribe to survival being the mother on invention.

I hope to learn as much as i can share.
at the end of the day information is knowledge, and without knowledge, well survival becomes alot harder.

Hello and welcome to the asylum.
If by what I have learned over the years, allow me to help one person to start to prepare. If all the mistakes I have made, let me give one person the wisdom that allows them to save their life or the life of a loved one in an emergency. Then I will truly know that all the work I have done will have been worth every minute.
