    Default Long-Johns, Snowsuits, Pack-Boots, and first frost

    Time to find the Winter gear, 36* above this morning, but it should frost tonight, clear and nippy. Back filled the new waterline yesterday, still no pump in the well, maybe next summer. Clear and sunny glorious day in paradise. The mountains are red & yellow with a dab of orange. The blueberries will be sweeter tomorrow......

    Do you gather wild edibles? I saw some huge patches of wild blueberries when I was up there. I seem to remember crowberries in and around some of the blueberry patches. Lots of plantains and dandelions where the land had been cleared. Just curious if you indulge.

    Yeah a tad chilly today. Wearing a light fleece pullover. Would be cold sleeping in a tent. BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

    Blueberries & Raspberries I eat in the field, but I don't freeze them.

    it was 38 at my house last week one morning. But, not this week. Holy cow we are setting some record high temps in MT this week. I am over it!

    2 degrees celcious this am, very clear dark night lastnight, these are some of my favorite days cool mornings up 18 degrees in afternoon, no bugs, yes the frost makes some plants taste better but you guys have berries? poor berry crop for me this year too wet and cool what was there mamma and her 3 cubs got, couldn't take from her with such a alrge family to feed
