    ain't got no checklist
kids and the ex think I'm loony as it is (they call it cute)
but the main computer in my cranium tracks it (sorta)
once I make the move to the bugout location (next year maybe)
then I will make a list or twelve

Yes, to the check list. Mine is laminated so I can write on it and then erase as needed once I move the items to my grocery list. I then have a master list detailing location of the main supplies so they can be replinished. Hmmmm, does that make me ANAL?

    I don't keep a list.

I keep my kitchen stocked with what I use frequently, and then I keep all my extras on shelves away from the kitchen, when I run out and go to grab something for everyday use, if its something I buy from the store I add it to the grocery list.

If its something homecanned, then I have already made a note of how many jars I put up in the summer or fall, every year so I can reference it for the next year.

So Yeah I guess I do keep a little list.

I have master lists, sub lists and misc lists that await be merged into former two. I even (really) have a list of new lists I need to create.

my storage has been a few years in the making, it is well documented that i have a grocery store in my basement and shop from there upstairs then make a list for when i go to town, but will also stock up on sale items, for example last year peanut butter went on sale for 70 percent off so i boutgh 24 jars now 15 months later i still have some, the best before date was done in march buti have noticed no difference
also as has been mentioned many times, store what you eat, i have lots of beans that i bought but don't eat many beans so was almost a waste in a way just cuz its cheap doesn't mean its a good idea to purchase, my breaky and lunch are what i store dinner is different usually more of the fresh variety but that is why i am learning to garden and wild edibles and storeage
    always be prepared-prepare all ways
