Cheap knife or not?

I've got one like that somewhere around here. I know it's low quality but it should do the job if you take care of it. Any good knife would be a problem if you abuse it.

Ka-Bar uses that steel in the "Bull Dozier" http://http://www.tomarskabars.com/1275_INFO.html I own one & it's one tough knife.

Yeah, I recall a while back we had a link to these guys who put all these different knives through these unbelievable tests to prove or dis-prove their quality and I thought "why the heck would I do those things to my knife?" Every fixed blade I have is full tang, but for someone starting out....cheap knife's better than no knife...
