    Default Moving Again!

6 months in Detroit, a month in Boston, and now I might be moving out to Burbank, CA! I just finished buying the whole military cold weather system on eBay and now I'm moving to a desert community? Sheesh. At least there's big wilderness parks all around LA. So much for camping in the Whites.

Mitch, if there's anyway, try to make it to the Whites before you go. Check out the Olivarian Brook Trail, it's on the south side of the Kank, half way between Loon Mt. and Conway.

Are you in the service or does your civilian job require all the moving?

    Mitch,
Don't complain, you will have the Sierras and the Rockies to play in not to mention Canyon country. You will really have to check out Yosemite it's incredible!

It's a civilian job. Can't complain since they'll be putting me up in corporate housing, rent a car, per diem allowance, reimbursable expenses, etc. Basically a free yearlong trip to Hollywood, no ****ting

I'm certainly trying to hit the Whites before I go. I'm going to First Night downtown just to get in the Bostonian new year's spirit. Then that weekend if the weather's not bad I might do the Middlesex Reservation (just to see what the snow cover is like in the woods). If the weather's real good I'll head up to the Whites. No snowshoes with me so I have to huff it like Nessmuk. And then towards the end of January or early Feb, I'll probably be waving hello to you snowed in fools with a margarita in one hand and sunscreen in the other.
