Food Security
As some of you know, I am in the process of getting back into the professional security field and, doing some research within that industry, today I ran across this website of the FDA and it is educational for those people that are involved in the nations food production industry. Although it is designed for that purpose, the information given applies here (albeit on a smaller scale) if any of us is involved in our own food production. At any rate, the information given is good to know regardless. Since some of us stockpile food supplies for any number of reasons, getting those stockpiles from wholesale outlets, local farms, bulk supply houses etc. etc., I think having a knowledge of the security of the food we buy or produce is essential to our survival, both as individuals and as a nation.
