Gerber LMf orignal as a all around survival knife?

Hammer the back edge of a knife doesn't do much for the serrations...
I don't own any serrated knives. Though I had a Swiss Army knife once with a "saw" in it. Let's just say the corkscrew got more use on that one. LOL.
I keep a small folding saw in my truck GHB. The kind you would get in a greenhouse supply shop, not a Bear Grylls website. Lightweight and useful. I don't plan on cutting my way out of airplane fuselage.

Thank you for the link. Interesting read. Not on any type of air crew and never have been. Still a good read. I went to a week long school down at Texas A&M about 20 years ago where the instructors taught us how to cut into a plane for rescue. Never gave much thought to cutting out of one.
