Looking for info on making brewers pitch, any thoughts?

Randy, I posted some pics a long while back on tankards. I didn't make them but took the pics at a workshop at one of our state parks. They used a combination 50/50 beeswax and pine. The instructor said once pine dried it was too brittle to be used alone and the beeswax gave it the flexibility it needed. That's all I know about it.

thanks for the info Rick, I have some rosin. Powdered, lump and granulated, thought about mixing up some rosin and wax to try.
