Thread: Thrift store inventory

    Default Thrift store inventory

I took my folks to the doctor this morning. Next to the office is a thrift store. I thought there might be some survival doodad I might need. So, while I waited I went to the store. Six months ago the store was full. Today it was pretty sparse. I don't know if it's the time of year or the way of the times we are in. Just an observation. Anyone have a similar experience?

Same thing here but I think spring has something to do with it. They rid all the winter clothes at this time of year and send everything to the recycler.

I went to donate a bunch of nic-nacs my wife wanted to get rid of this morning and the little thrift store I went to was wall to wall people. I really don't have a past comparison to compare to though.

I dropped some stuff off at Goodwill just before Christmas and they were having a sale (who knew Goodwill had sales?). The place was jammed. Glad I was delivering and not buying that day!
