Well, This news has been going around for awhile, controversial and even the source of this news article may be personally controversial to any of you also. I read things with an open mind, how 'bout you?

Just some information of possible coming events that need to be taken into account as we survive in our wildernesses.

I am constantly amazed at the “one-sidedness” of arguments about global warming. For example, the Weather Channel figure (can’t remember her name) suggested that if any meteorologist disagreed with global warming that they have their credentials removed. I'm sure that there are many on the other side that say similar things. Heck, the local weather predictors can’t accurately forecast what is going to occur tomorrow. I have very little confidence in their accuracy of what will occur in 10, 50, or 100 years. Here are just a few links where global warming is disputed.

My global warming cost me $7000. in damages to the wife's car. Hail up to the size of a lemon. The weather has been back & forth ever since I can remember. Where is warming when you can really use it?

You never hear them talking about global warming in Michigan in February when windchill sends the temp down to -10f.

But seriously. Yes I can see it affecting other parts of the world. The only effects I see in Michigan is no rain (at all) in July and August. This really puts a damper on all crops, especially veggies like corn and soybeans. And raises the risk of forest fires.

Climates around the world are constantly changing. I think it is pretty arrogant of us to assume that today's climate, or the climate of 10 years ago is/was best. Afterall......Greenland didn't get its name because of snow and ice.

the favorite attack by global warmists is the arctic ice cap melting. they fail to mention that the antarctic ice shelf is actually getting THICKER. even if there truly is global warming, its not from human activity. just look up t he definition of coal, and you will find that coal is compressed plant matter, and that it is found EVERYWHERE on earth, including the frozen poles. this means that at one time or another, these areas were tropical swamplands.

It is 67, grey, and a cold rain at my house today . . . and it is almost the first of July in Indiana. Wish I had a little global warming here. We have had so much rain, the plants in the garden are starting to fall over because the roots can't hold onto the wet muddy ground.

Actually, Greenland did get it's name cuz of snow and ice. Viking explorers didn't win any friends with the King of Denmark by naming the first place they hit "Iceland" so they tried a putting a little spin on the second place. Cheer the old king up a bit.

Hmm, I am just the messenger. My take on it is that the world is going through some weird weather, be in warm or cold and that was my point for the posting. At any given time period that you're venturing out it would be useful to check to see what the weather is for that excursion. Not being a long excursion in most cases but a short one as we have time for vacations etc. etc. to be aware that the weather may be dicey during your long awaited trek.
