    Cool well now...

    "So That Others May Live!" That's the motto of the PJ's that goes into hot LZ's risking everything to save the life of somebody who needs it. SAR personnel also knew this when they took the job. True, if they lose their life in the process everybodys sad. I don't know if that hiker was a yo-yo or not. But if he was and he hadn't been there it could have just as easy been somebody else who simply made a wrong turn somewhere along the line. SAR is there for everybody, both yo-yo's and non-yo-yo's. I think they are fully aware of that. If they thought differently they would have a personality assessment of the victim before going out to rescue them.

    "Hmmm, looks like we've got a real dumbass here boys...stand down!"

    Instead they are thinking: "Damn, somebody needs us...let's roll!"

    My hats off to the dead rescuer and the others that he served with. Thank you guys for your dedication!......
