I'll bet you can get the knife to talk. Put it in a room with a coarse grinding stone, that'll do the trick.

Well, you have to admit, those two are a sneaky pair. Who'd of thought the knife and gun would have split up like that. A good tracker would have noticed that right off. I'll bet they were wearing those sideways treads!

Good idea, I'll lock the knife in the workshop next to the grinder and "wear it down" after I let it sweat and rust a little bit.

    DJ - I have not.

The boots arrived today and I must say they did a pretty darn good job. The cost was $93.00 and included having the boots resoled, new inserts, new laces and mailing. I know that probably seems a bit high but Vasque Sundowners are around $180.00 a pair so we're talking half the price of new boots and I have several more years of use that I'll get out of them. That's a bargain to me.

The soles on these boots are vulcanized, glued, cemented, whatever the proper resole terminology is and they used factory original soles instead of some generic off brand. I like that.

I don't receive anything from these folks I just thought it would be interesting to know since we all walk our way out of good boots on occassion.
