Default Uncle Sam is Selling Off Mules? - Well, not really

Came across this article about what people buy from the government. Also, in the article, there is a link to a Government Surplus site (http://www.govliquidation.com/)

    Here's the article:

There are some great bargains with military surplus. Most smaller items are bought and sold by the pallet. A friend was starting up a computer shop years ago and bought three pallets of computers for 11 cents a pound IIRC. Out of those, he got about 30 or 40 working machines that he sold rather quickly.

Pal334 stay away from the above link. You may end up with that bobbed deuce you've been dreaming of.

That's what I was thinking when I read the article. They have all sorts of old military trucks for sale.

There are suppliers all over the country for vehicles of all types including tracked vehicles if you're interested. These guys are my favorites. They are in Indiana.....of course. Check out their custom crew cabs with turning wheels on both ends!

Okay, one more time for the slow crowd. You need to buy a his and hers. She can't argue with that. Well, she could I guess but then you'd have to remind her that she has one too. Case closed.

I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your sage advice. Unfortunately she considers this to be a filthy , untidy and noisy thing (all the attributes that endear it to me). HOWEVER I believe with enough whining, I will wear her down to the point that I will "want" one. But the ace in the hole is, someday just showing up with one and paying the consequences

Make sure you've got a small fridge and mattress in it. You may be staying in it for a while.

THat is all in the workshop. I am a seasoned veteran at this. And always have the helmet nearby for that initial encounter

It seems to me that we have this whole warrior thing down wrong. If we really want to win wars with no bloodshed we should send our wives. The enemy will take one look, know full well what they are in for, and turn tail. I know I would.

SO true. The worse a** whopping I took as an LEO was from a woman who was protecting her "man" after he beat her. We should have a bunch of them to turn on the bad guys.
