    Well, the little Terc has over 408K miles now, so it is time for it to be relegated to the back-up mode. Still runs good, just need to hedge my bets a bit.

    I now have a 1997 Rav4 with auto, 4x4 and a few other things. Increased engine size by 1/2 liter, and doubled the horse power (mileage should be similar).

    Bump on an older thread, but I've owned a 4wd Tercel for a couple years and have always loved it!! When it snowed here in Alabama a year ago I was the only one that could make it around town and was actually giving rides to people that couldn't get around, hows yours doing?

    Nah, he likes his Corolla better. He is not much for running around in the woods as he does not have a long enough extension cord for his video games and electronics.
