    Post Just a simple question

I was wondering, where would I go to find others that are looking for companions for a survival trip in the wilderness? Is there a forum here or on another site?

I'm planning a rather long one (from 6 months to a year) about 9 months from now and am trying to find a crew of ppl to go.

If nothing else maybe someone can direct me to one of those communes (sp) out in BFE in the woodlands. I read on one of the posts that there are large amounts of ppl living in tents in the middle of nowhere.

I'm always up for something new, I'm just tired of society atm and am ready to take a -long vacation-.

cheshiregriffin - dificult to make any recommendations without knowing a bit about you. How about heading over to the introductions and tell us a bit. Keep it pertinent to what would be useful to answer your question.

Sounds fair, I'll do that. I just found this forum today after a bit of searching, it would only be right to at least introduce myself. Thanks for the advice.

A while back there was a guy XIXIX (or roman numerals dude) that was planning on a trek across Canada. His plans were delayed, and haven’t seen him on the forum for awhile, but here’s the thread http://www.wilderness-survival.net/f...ead.php?t=2625

Hell, come on up. Park your tent on the back 60. In return I have potholes to fill, fences to mend, firewood to buck/split/stack, hay to cut and bale.......ect.

I'll teach you to survive, Spud style.

    Welcome by the way.

Hey, if it saves me the time to hunt in exchange for food and I have a good secluded place to build a log cabin I don't mind working a bit during the day. :P
