The wifey was a great lady about these things. Background and common sense.

She had been in the Army as a batallion aide station lab tech, trained for operation within sight of the combat center. That gave her a different attitude. She had qualified expert on the m16 and was proud of it. Then she went on to raise two Marines and send them off to 4 tours in Iraq. What did she buy them for birthdays and graduations? You guessed it, firearms. No liberal coddling of her men-children.

First Christmas present I gave her was a hand made KY longrifle it took me a year to build. She appriciated it, carried it and shot it in competition.

It took me a long trime to learn how to pick a proper woman!
