I don't know anything about binoculars, just thought I'd pass along the offer, which looked pretty good. If you don't like these, what do you recommend for this kinda money?

Sorry, I was just being a bit sarcastic.

Truthfully though, for that kind of money I suggest you keep your "piggy bank" unmolested until you can get a little more money and buy a quality binocular. Currently the bare minimum (and I really mean bare minimum)price for a decent binocular is about $100. That will get you an 8x30 Leupold Yosemite which is astoundingly good, especially considering the price.

You could save about $20 and get the 6x30 Yosemite but, I don't like 6x magnification so; they're a non-starter for me.
