I didn't know that people were allowed to just visit one site, forum. I visit many.
Brave? I didn't get that statement.
Anyway, sorry if I did something worng, didn't realize that forum loyality was an issue.
But to be honest. having a forum owner or moderator imply that one leave if they find another forum interesting is just about enough for me here.
I will say this in departure. In all of my years hanging out at different forums I have never met a group that was so self absorbed as what is here. To bad but there always has to be one.

Out of respect for this forum and all that are here daily you should have not labeled that thread the way you did. Im sure alot of members here go to other forums but we do not disrespect them by saying our site is better or that our site is the best. You showed complete disrespect and no regard to what others might think. You just picked the wrong title is all, but I have to completely disagree with you bc this is the best forum on the net.

And btw if you havent figured it out Rick can basically do what he wants. If you dont like then thanks for stopping by.

i have visited your forum, as i have many others to see what they offer, and yours while it may come around cannot be labeled the best mainly because there is no information yet. i mean go look up wild edibles in your forum the only thing there are links to other sites for information where is the knowledge and experience that we have here or at survival.com or at wildsurvive. dave is a former ranger so i give him all the respect in the world he has earned it with a cib, aa, and airborne tabs, and i know this from experience so you are welcome to post here but treat this like your home because it is ours, and when we visit yours we wil respect your home.

This is a large established forum, i was just trying to show some people a new, starting out forum. There are good people there and it is amazing for how young it is. If you wanna flip out about it fine, but i dont understand why you would see a forum that didnt even have 100 members before this post, as a threat.

No one flipped out. But as sthrnstrong pointed out it's just a matter of courtesy. I visit other forums but I sure wouldn't presume to tell them that WSF is tops and they should run over and join it. That's just a courtesy to the forum owner. But you will find other websites and other forums posted throughout this one and no one gets concerned.

I guess it's the difference between saying, "Hey, I ran across this site and thought it had some good info." as opposed to the way you worded your post.

As for Zendik, I don't know what to say to you. It's a free world. Do whatever makes you comfortable. Being self absorbed is not so bad. Of course if you don't like something you have only yourself to blame.

Jeffersonpaine - I had no problem at all with your post. Nothing wrong with sharing information. As far as flipping out goes, I believe Zendik was the one that did that. Judging by some earlier conflict on the forum, he may have a propensity for it. Just my thoughts.
