    Default It's snowing!

It has snowed about an inch in the past hour here at my place. Anyone else got new snow? It was almost 90 degrees here Sunday- it's 30 right now....I love Montana in May!

God, I love snow! In Montana, Alaska, New Hampshire .... In fact, I love it anywhere as long as it's 100 miles north of where I live!

Half! Now I do believe that the attorney in you is coming out counselor. But I do like your style. Since one half of all food must be sent to the Quality Control Department for review and testing.......and since I am one half of the Quality Control Department.......that would mean that you will be shipped one quarter of the food to be sampled......but since the Quality Control Department has no budget (something we need to work on) and therefore 50% of the department is incurring 100% of the cost of shipping......I do believe you should send a nice medium rare burger to go with the onions. The onions are in the mail. Oh yeah - here's the first handfull I pulled. Guests can not see images in the messages. Please register in the forum.

    Talking

If I actually get those onions, I'll send you a couple of lobsters in the mail. You can use 'em to make Lobster Thermador (I prefer baked stuffed, but what the hell, I had to think of something to go with those onions).

    Why would I do this?

BECAUSE IT WOULD GET THE QUALITY CONTROL DEPARTMENT ROLLING! Unless Rick snaps his fingers

Now that I think about it, about 15 years ago, I was down in Hilton Head. Road-side vendors with oysters and Vidalia Onions. Ate about 1/2 bushel of oysters down there and brought back a full bushel of Vadalias. Idiot Airline (!) must have put them in an unheated compartment even though I marked them "do not freeze". Day after I got home, they were all black and mushy and I didn't get to try one of them.

Crash, please make sure that you are explicit in your shipping orders.

Of course, your lobsters will arrive ALIVE - I'll make sure of that!

I've had a couple of bowls of wilted lettuce. Peas, cucumbers, bush beans, pole beans blueberries, currants, kale, nasturtiums, cauliflower, calendula and raspberries are all in the ground. Lemon grass, watermellon, vining spinach, several types of peppers and vining nasturtiums are all in seed pots and getting ready to plant.

We had snow a few days ago, but what's a lot more exciting, the ice is moving!! With a bit more wind, we might have enough open water in a day or two to put the kayaks in!

Lemon Grass? Please DO NOT send any lemon grass or cilantro to the Quality Control Department. Even I have standards.

Yeah, here in northern NH it snowed some on Monday. Still alot of snow in the mountains. Yet, as you said it can also be in the 90's F.

Cool here, no snow, yet. Rivers are open, canoes are on the water and I guess the fishing is pretty good, hope to find out soon myself. Been picking fiddleheads, and walking along the river. Love this time of year.
