Default Hello wild people TV Casting guy here....don't shoot! ;)

Hi everyone, thank you for welcoming me here! My name is Josh - I'm 31, live in Los Angeles California, originally from Indianapolis, Indiana and love camping in the Sequoia National Forest and Little Belt Mountains of Montana.

In LA, I work as a development and casting producer for television. I'm actually in association with Discovery Channel right now to find the next Alaskan Bush People, so if anyone here knows a fun, dynamic family that lives off-grid - hit me up!

Ideally, we are looking for a family with at least five individuals, kids ages 15-35, big personalities, and live mostly without modern amenities, off the land, in a wilderness environment. I think it could be a great opportunity for a family to showcase their unique lifestyle and ability to survive the challenges.

Once again, glad to be here! I look forward to learning more from all of you about being in the wild. Feel free to e-mail me directly if you have a referral to a family or could point me in the right direction. I'd be happy just to chat as well.

    Cheers,
    Josh

Welcome, Josh, and thank you for the post. I can't imagine leaving Indy for Cali but, hey, someone has to live there. I love Indy personally.

Here you go folks. Another opportunity to be a star. If you wish to contact Josh you can Skype him or, if you click on his forum name, you'll have the opportunity to email him.

Those requirements kinda surprise me. I thought the last AK Bush people was all made up hysterics that ticked off the real Alaskans...... At least that is rumor across the web.....

Discovery has lost all credibility with me. Mermaids, bush people that commute to the bush...

Discovery channel is all about "reality" shows that are not real. My pet peeve is when they go to commercial and come back they show the last thirty seconds they showed before the commercial.Yes i watch it , some of it i find interesting. They spend too much time trying to create drama were there is none.

My rant for the day !!!

Hey folks, just keep in mind that if they did a REAL reality show it would wind up looking more like the old Rosanne show than "Leave it to Beaver in the Wilderness".

I do appreciate the Alaskan Cops shows though. It reminds me that not all the white trash lives in my region. There are potheads, perverts and worthless POS all over the world.
