Are you talking about a fire starter or something that a strike anywhere match can be striked on?
I'm a Gramp who is not computer savvy, give me a slab and the rock ages tablet..I will do fine!
A striked "any where match" can be striked on. Storage and simple access is all.
also makes a quick place to touch up the edge on your blade
All the matches fall out everytime I turn it upside down to strike the match

That way you don't have to put the matches in your pocket and then take all of them out every time.

Never try to use your shoe laces to start a fire. First, they won't strike. Second, if you do get them lit you'll burn your foot.

you could cary around a handy altoids tin and put them in that.
