Good to know that snacking on nuts and seeds while you hike will not make you fat. A proven fact from over 1000 years ago. Way to go you scientific happy Buddha's. Sorta hard on the business of morticians and embalmers back then however. Saved some money on the frankincense and myrrh I suppose. LOL

He's not gonna be very happy now that some Dutch fools are all dissecting him, stealing his gold and whatnot. ha ha ha

It reads more like some serious (taxing the meaning of this word to it's limit) speculation.

Hunter; after personally experiencing the effects of an almost all trail mix diet for more than a brief period, I prefer not to wonder (and try not to imagine). On that road trip, we were thankful for power windows and highway speeds.

I will tell you that trail mix and those combo Trail mix bars go rancid in fairly short order......

Dug some out of the "flea market bag"....just last week looking for something else....and though I would try one....Was bad, maybe 6 months old...so tossed 4 bars and a bag of mix I bought at the flea market that hadn't been finished.

Still makes me wonder who came up with the idea of self mummification, what to eat, for how long, and when to switch to roots and bark, and finally the varnish.

Monk starting his process.......first day....."Hey, how about a beer with these nuts and seeds...."
