This weekend's Trip

We went out on Wednesday and came back today. It was mainly just Sean and I and our freind and co-worker Mike and his daughter. Though we had other folks stop in from other camps that know us and friends that came out for the night. I had problems with the Polaris Ranger from the get go. And it was out of the game about 5 miles from camp on Friday.

The Thanksgiving dinner was awesome. We grilled a turkey (with apple wood), cooked sweet potatoes and corn in the coals (live oak). There was no left over turkey by the end of the weekend. It really did come out amazing.

With our back country ride down we regulated to making a bow (rather poor because of the high draw weight), shooting bows in camp ( a couple of re-curves and a self bow), arrow making, hiking and general camp foolery.
