Well, we went and did it on thursday......
Meet Gromit. He's a 14 month old British Short Hair. We rehomed him rather than go for a kitten. He has a few issues, but nothing we can't work with.

Good looking fella, but Gromit does not look amused.
That's a beautiful boy! He'll get bigger and fatter around the face and pretty rotund all over... British shorthairs are among my faves.
So glad you went and got yourself a buddy...and a rehome at that. God bless you, Winnie!
I'm not a cat fan but that is a good looking cat. I'm glad you found another friend. Good for you.
On the whole he's a happy little chap. Looking forward to getting to know him.
No he wasn't amused. I stuck a Camera in his face moments after he woke up.![]()

Yeah Winnie. He is a handsome fellow. I am sure he will mellow out shortly as he now has a wonderful home. Thanks for doing a rehome.
I think that's the look B talks about when she says Gotham Kitty is not amused.
Congrats on the new friend, Winnie! Although new friends never replace old friends, it is great to have the companions. He looks like a good boy and it is great that you gave him a good home. I have had you cooking before, so I have no doubt that he will live a very full and happy life! Glad you two found each other.

Handsome fella!

Great looking cat!!!! Congrats and enjoy. We took on a crazed abused cat when first married. Best darn cat after 6 mos. Thought it was a dog, came when called, sat, did trick. But that 1st 6 mos. whoooeeeey it was tough.

Cute cat. It should make a nice addition to your family.
I don't think he likes you taking his picture.
I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.
