Default Another One Lost in the Canoe

I just got back from the gun shop. Lost another one crossing the lake home. This is a Bersa Thunder Combat in .380. I've added an extra mag and mag extensions. Truthfully, I've wanted a Walther PPK ever since I first saw Sean Connery in Dr. No doing battle with those nefarious culprits from SPECTRE. I wanted Honey Ryder, too, but that's a different story. Since I won't be shelling out for the Walther this was the next best thing. My name? Blond....James Blond. Now if the rain would stop I could take a trip to the range.

    Here's the skinny on it:

    • Model: THUN380C
      Caliber: .380 ACP
      Action: DA/SA
      Capacity: 8+1
      Barrel Length: 3.5”
      Front Sight: Dovetailed
      Rear Sight: Notched-Bar Dovetailed, adjustable
      Finishes: Matte Black
      Grips: Olive Rubber wrap-around
      Construction: Alloy Frame/Steel Slide
Safety: Integral Locking System, Manual, Firing Pin
      Weight: 20 oz.
      Length: 6.5”
      Height: 4.7”
      Width: 1.3”

Ya done well....PPK SS is/was like a brick (1.4 pounds no mag) ....trade it off to my nephew and ended up with the LCP.
    PPK shot better though.

Nice. I had a Thunder 380, the only complaint I had was the non-ergonomic location of the safety on the slide, and not the frame... but, it was damn near a PPK/PPKS(?) knockoff..

Inexpensive, and it was (for the limited amount of ammo I shot though it), reliable.

so the definition of a criminal is someone who breaks the law and you want me to believe that somehow more laws make less criminals?

Hey! It's the canoe's fault not mine. I intend to prove to that canoe that I'm the boss. I will never give up (or go down with the ship).
