    Default Marlin Model 882

We just got a Marlin Model 882 today. I was wondering if any of you have any experience with it. If so is it a good rifle? It is .22 mag, bolt action, removeable clip magazine, wood monte carlo stock. It looks pretty nice. Thanks for any info.

does it have the micro grove barrel? Some our kids are shooting this rifle in competition and they are tack drivers but they all needed trigger work.

Buy extra mags for it. Dont worry about trying to fix a bad mag just throw it away.
    1. If it's in your kit and you don't know how to use it....It's useless.
    2. If you can't reach your kit when you need it....Its useless.

Yes it does have the micro grove barrel. We haven't shot it yet. My dad bought it from his friend so the trigger work has probably already been done. How old are they?

I don't know how to double quote in one reply. Where do you get extra mags?

We have kids from 9 to 18 in the club shooting 22s,50 cal black powder, bows, and skeet with the shotguns. We split them in a junior and senior division to compete in all the different events.
