Um, how about some details? Where you at, what kinda condition is it in? engine, etc etc?

Well, I don't know.. there have been a lot of layoffs in this area recently... and it is a niche market I need to cater to on it. Maybe I just need to scrunch brain tissue and get more inventive.. or contact the right people about it.
Are there any clubs in the area? Some areas you'll find off-road, vintage car, corvette, volkswagon, etc. that have enthusiasts. They may be able to steer you in the right direction.

I want to get what I should have gotten in the first place and that is a 4X4 cargo van to convert to a survivalist camper type .. BOV.

How about looking at International or Scout forums and see if they have a for sale section? How about a 4X4 or vintage off road website? Just throwing some ideas out there. I had a '83 Landcrusier and sold it through a Landcruiser forum site.

Aurelius... That van belongs to my neighbor... it doesn't run but I don't think it is for sale.. I can ask him about it for you though.. It is a piece of junk though.. lots of rust too. Old Chevy.
Man I love Scouts...Had one, it was amazing. But you do have to know what parts to use on the engine..lol..anyone who owns one should understand.

With the gas crunch. A lot of top end 4 X 4's are just sitting around. The car lots here are full of SUV's, 4X4's and gas hogs.
I gave away my mint condition 1981 Chrysler Newport because the 12 miles to a gallon in the city, made it undesirable.
