Regarding Cody Lundin...

Many of the newcomers to this site do not know about how Cody responded to us in the past. Previous to all this Army Ranger Dic...er...uh...Rick enrolled as a member, then came on here and started putting the members down! I'd been talking about Cody's book, 98.6 Degrees... and Rick, who wasn't even a Mod yet, read it and gave a good report on it. I then shot Cody an E-mail and he responded in a very friendly,positive way! Here's the rest of the story:

I take it by your use of the word "also" that Cody Lundin is a forum member. I have both of Cody's books and they contain a lot of solid, useful information. It's odd that Cody doesn't use in practice some of the more important information in those books. I suppose that's a similar situation to where the term "coaches coach and players play" originated. It would be helpful to have a sticky thread with the names of individuals whom you cannot call bulls**t on.

Thanks for the heads up Sarge.....hadn't seen that blog for while.

I like Cody's approach as a general set of goals laid out in his book (bought it awhile back)....and doesn't get bogged down on "what is the best?"

No, Cody is not a member. When I mentioned it to him he said that he spends most of his time outdoors and not in front of the computer. Later on I e-mailed him and he said to tell everybody "hello." Another former member sent him an E-mail back when he was working with Dave C. on Dual Survival and he got a nice response. His barefoot thing is something that he totally believes in, BTW. Not me, however...lol...
