Turns out it is 17' Lowe, I was mistaken about it being a Grumman. Still have to travel to MS to pick it up! Good excuse for a visit and maybe a vacation!

Fixed the pics...I think? I replaced them the same way they were originally working. Yeah, I am real excited about getting back in some waters around here I haven't been in, in years! My Grumman weighs 78 pounds empty, and after I added the portage bar where the center support strut is/was. I could potage it alone.
Of course I was younger then....had it for 30+ years...little banged up, but I know every ding and scrape in it.
Painted it camo back when, and is still looking good.
Should have seen the expression on the young lady checking me out at the outdoor store with a can of paint....Labeled..."Dull, Dead Grass"......So I said it's for my canoe....She said, "Oh, I was wondering why anyone would want that color"

They say the two happiest days of boat ownership are the day you buy it and the day you sell it. I don't think that applies to canoes however.
