I actually had one of those all drawn up. I was going to use the paddle wheels on the F.A.R.T. boat but sadly, someone, who's name I won't mention (Pal) lost the boat. It turned out okay, however, because I've lost the plans.

Just curious, how many PPG do you get with that setup?

Well, now, as we all know a UK gallon is bigger than a US gallon, and then the the density of the pig and rotational direction have to be factored in ...and if 2dumb is driving, well that makes a whole lot of difference as he's a race driver and you get a faster rotation than if say, Rick were driving, who drives a steady 3 1/2 MPH. Sooooooo.

Dang, I always forget about that Imperial conversion factor. Then again, I never got the pounds shilling thing sorted out either.

In any event, BBQing something smaller for Memorial Day (done pig once, don't want to do it again unless you loan out the Deere). While thinking about our own service people, here's thinking about yours. My father was a bridge officer on a battlewagon in WWII and once told me that the British and Australian guys he saw were top notch all the way.

Ohhh no you don't, you're just miffed cuz you didn't think of it first.

And Thankyou Sam. Our special day of Remembrance is in November, I always take some time to think of all service personnel at that time.

Winnie, we have Veterans Day on November 11th. Memorial Day is just for those who have died while serving. It originated after the American Civil War. Veterans Day is suppose to be similar to Armistice Day.

I always get the quid/pound thing messed up myself. Maybe Winnie can shed some light on that. That is what I get for watching too much Top Gear on BBC.

Sadly, no shillings since we decimalised in 1971, it's just pennies and pounds.

Ok... a quid is a pound. so fifty quid = fifty pounds. Or in JC parlance..50,000 quid is A LOT!

I guess it is like our dollar=buck.

Jeremy cracks me up. I love how his tool box has this one drawer just for him, and all that is inside are hammers.

Not sure about the charcoal, but I think the matches were in the boat.

What kind of wilderness guys are you if you can't start a fire without matches.

At our age rarely anything matches. The nice thing about that is the one red and one blue sock I have own match a similar set in the drawer. It's kinda like a twofer.
