Thread: Water storage..and the space to store it!

  1. #1

Default Water storage..and the space to store it!

I had an idea ( they don't happen often and hurt when it does) and was wanting some input , I don't want to give out too much info until i figure out how to get it made and patens and what ever else needs to be done.
But anyway, if You could store between 90 and 300 gallons of water in multiple locations in your house and not lose an inch of space, what would that be worth to someone? ,

and next question anyone have experience in getting a product manufactured and marketed, maybe you can point me in the right direction please

I would suggest you start with a business plan. You'll need to know VERY PRECISELY what the costs and expected return are going to be. That might make the decision for you if you want to pursue it or not. . If you seek funding, whether private or investor, you'll need a business plan anyway. If you plan to patent it then find a good patent attorney. You can start here:

My company's business plan is to develop technology, and then find someone to manufacture and market the technology. Then, they pay us royalties. We have a patent lawyer on staff, and we write a lot of patents.

Regardless on whether you market and manufacture, or you license it to someone else, you better have a patent.

Anyways, my guess is that you are making PVC shelves and storing the water inside the framework of the shelves.

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with welding. Just a wild guess on my part.

If I suddenly turned into her I would never get anything done, I would just stay home and play with my water storage units all day

Be prepared to pay big money to get a patent ! A friend of mine got a patent on a product that I gave him the idea for (with my permission) and it cost him $10,000 for the patent ! I can still make and sell the item if I want to and my friend does make and sell them, but it really took me by supprise how much a patent cost !
