    Default I Feel like Crap!!!!

Got a bug and don't know what the heck it is!! started wednesday as the onset of a cold, then yesterday I was running a fever 101 to 103 all day and night, chills, dizzy, weak, light headed, low bp 105/76 ( usually a sign of dehydration), stomach cramps, slept from 11 pm wednesday to 10:15 this morning. Called the DR for an appointment and he said no use its a flu nothing he can do for me, stay hydrated, take OTC meds and lay around. news flash thats what ive been doing ain't helping!!!
This crap sucks, Now i'm just wondering what strain or variant of flu I have, and how long am i going to feel like hammered dog crap!!!!

There are two bugs going around, up here. One is about a two day stomach bug. The other, (that sounds like what you have) seems to be about a five day bug.

I got the flu end of March after being vaccinated in Sept. You have all the symptoms so get to a Dr. ASAP who cam prescribe TamiFlu--the only thing that really helps and shortens the duration of feeling like crap. OTC is just a band aid.

Kind of what i was thinking, I may go to the walk in clinic if I don't feel better by tomorrow, I do have some Tamiflu in my medicin locker, I hate to use it if I dont need it, But I guess if he prescribes some I can rotate my stock!!

You Sir have the hypotitus pitus pneumonia ponia! My dad use to mix lemon juice, honey, cheap whisky and water in to a majic elixer. He would then cover up with 2 or 3 quilts and sweat like nobodys business for several hours. He was usually better the next day. Not sure if you should try that or not, but it always helped him! Or maybe it was just the whiskey

A clove of raw garlic, minced, put in spoon.
Do not chew, rather chase it down with water or the beverage of your choice.
    Take after meals.

Lay off the alcohol and caffeine. Both are diuretics. Hope you feel better soon. And....can you step back a couple of steps please. Just in case it's air borne.

Flu can really knock you out big time.
After 3 days of suffering I went to a walk in clinic in the hood. They did a nose swab on the spot and got the results in 10 min. Flu, all right.
TamiFlu made a difference...which didn't exclude other stuff like plenty of liquids, rest, and loved ones kissing your @ss.
Being sick sux no matter what it is.
