Makes me wonder how getting a few hundred cards from old geezers like us, telling him to get well and get his butt back to the woods, would make a kid feel?

Sometime a gesture like that at a crisis moment will change the direction of someone's life.

Wow I feel sorry for the kid, what a terrible thiing to deal with at a young age. But back on to the show, you know we all may have to survive with an inexperienced person, you just never know. So there are things to be learned from that. I can only imagine having to go into full blown survival with the girls, they would eventually get into the groove but it would be a huge challenge for them at first!

Well that stinks. Let's just hope that he's as good of a survivor as his dad

    Default Survivorman

I just have to say survivorman is by far Not, the most terrible 'survival' series going on....
    Prayers for logan's son...

Most people don't end up "surviving" on purpose.
Nor do most people have the skills and will to survive with out help....

Mostly that comes when they are doing something else and get into a situation,...an inexperienced person is a good one to watch.

That is the reason for these shows....and of course make some money.

Having a show with all experts arguing about what is the best way to start a fire....would really be boring.......Like most of the uTube vids.

It is a very rare occurrence when someone WANTS to be in a survival situation, and in most of those cases there needs to be an outside expert brought in for psych evaluation.

(Oh boy we get to eat bugs, sweat/freeze, get soaked, sleep wet, risk out lives and long term health when we didn't have too!! What a blast!)

Also why Hunter and Crash and me and some others here drive vehicles which are permanently equipped to allow us to rebuild civilization on the side of the interstate highway at ay given point in time.

There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isnt an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.

    Cool Children and Leukemia.

I remember, when I was a very young kid, hearing that Red Skelton's son was dying of Leukemia and Red took him for a trip around the world before he passed. Later Red had another child I believe, but I know that there had to be an empty place in his heart for that 1st son. Sometimes I think we get too caught up in these reality shows. Like posted above, nobody deliberately puts themselves in a survival situation...that makes them a candidate for the Darwin award....

    Hy,
Honestly, I can see why Survivorman and Son might feel off for some viewers they can come across as awkward or overly forced at times. If youre looking for online content that feels more authentic or culturally connected, I recently came across Emigrantas TV. Its an online platform that streams Lithuanian shows, news, and entertainment, letting people abroad stay in touch with familiar culture and language. The streaming is flexible, works on multiple devices, and even covers documentaries and talk shows that feel more engaging than some mainstream reality series. You can check it out here: https://emigrantastv.com
